Jon is a passionate search engine marketing, web analytics and conversion expert. He loves nothing more that sharing thoughts on internet strategy……..except perhaps doing so during a game of tennis!
In his role as Analtyics Manager at TechWyse his primary goal is to raise the quality of analysis and improve service levels using industry leading analytics, SEM and optimization tools. His ethos is to advance corporate structure and processes according to the Web Analytics Maturity model. The foundation of this is data driven insights and actionable reporting that allow a corporation to understand and improve Return on Investment from online marketing.
Jon says, ” My role is really quite straightforward. Increase visitors to websites and get these visitors to convert more. The hard part is putting the corporate structures and processes in place to allow companies to learn adapt and grow from the data that is available.”
Jon’s internet marketing experience was developed and honed for 5 years as director of an e-commerce start up. Being in the trenches… writing code, managing campaigns and analysing usability and conversion data…has enabled him to understand the fundamentals and their impact on business strategy.
Prior to this Jon worked for Universal Music International as Technology, Strategy and Standards Manager for EMEA and previously as a Senior infrastructure consultant at Conchango, a leading interactive media consultancy now part of EMC.
Jon also passes as a part time fantasy football analyst and enjoys watching carefully prepared predictive analysis being proven wrong time and time again.
